About Forum Viseu

Forum Viseu opened in September 2005 and is owned by CA Património Crescente – Open Real Estate Investment Fund. It is a modern, urban space located in Viseu, in the heart of Portugal, a city with over 2500 years of history!

As the main highlight, Forum Viseu covers a total shopping area of 19.500 m2 and boasts a variety of renowned brands such as: Inditex Group (ZARA, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Lefties), Calzedonia Group (Calzedonia and Intimissimi), Mayoral, Rituals and Timberland as well as various services: NOS Cinema, MultiOpticas, Smile Up and Fitness Hut Gym.

For the convenience of visitors, Forum Viseu also provides a car park with around 800 parking spaces.

In addition, Forum Viseu is committed to environmental responsibility and has been ISO 14001 certified by Lloyd’s. All waste generated in the centre is sent for recycling and measures are taken to minimize the consumption of non-renewable energies. Also as part of its environmental policy, Forum Viseu promotes good practices among suppliers and collaborates in environmental awareness actions at a local and regional level.

The architecture of Forum Viseu also merits highlighting. The complex is composed of two independent urban blocks, connected by a central square. Multi Development invited the renowned Catalan architect, Prof. Joan Busquets, to integrate the design of Forum Viseu in the city centre. The use of granite stone, typical of the region, was carefully considered to better harmonize the project with the urban environment of the old side of Viseu. The redesign completed in 2015 ensured the connection to the upper floors, through escalators, pedestrian stairs and a panoramic lift.

For cultural activities, or moments of leisure you can find the Theater Viriato, the Multipurpose Pavilion and the São Mateus Fairgrounds, right next to the Forum Viseu, or the River Beach of Folgosa about 30 minutes away by car.

How many shops does Forum Viseu have?

Forum Viseu has a total of 48 shops, 3 restaurants, 1 Pingo Doce supermarket and 1 NOS cinema.

Where can I find the lost property?

If you have lost something during your visit, or if you have found a lost item, we recommend that you go to the Customer Service Centre to report it and get assistance.

Where are the ATM terminals?

We have placed 4 ATM terminals at your disposal, distributed as follows:
Floor 0: A terminal next to Pingo Doce;
Floor 2: One terminal near the Tiger shop and two in the Restaurant area.

Where are the toilets?

You’ll find two sets of WCs on Floor 1, next to the escalators on Rua Ponte de Pau, and on Floor 2, in the catering area, where you’ll also find a Family WC. On each floor you’ll find a women’s toilet, a men’s toilet and a toilet for people with reduced mobility.

Which public transport links to Forum Viseu?

To visit us, you can use the electric minibus network, which stops at Rua Moreira Pinto, just opposite the main entrance to Forum Viseu.

Viseu Bus Station is also 200 metres away, providing access to urban and interurban transport and “Rede Expresso”.
